Pauline Averous
I'm a Pilates instructor with an anatomy-based approach rooted in biomechanics. My sessions focus on improving mobility, restoring natural movement, and helping students build a resilient body. I adapt each session to individual needs, goals, and movement patterns. My classes meet you where you are, with the objective of bringing movement as a way to support your lifestyle. So we can use Pilates to complement another sport practice, move after an injury or with a specific condition, or simply as a way to soothe the nervous system. I enjoy teaching students how and why they move, helping them develop body awareness, confidence, and movement skills that are useful in the day-to-day life. I offer private sessions either in the city or in my Pilates studio in Alameda.
